A Subsidy Encourages Actions Be Taken In A Certain Field. Yet, it Requires Government to Track Progress and it often leads to Expansive Government. What is expected from our President and Congress is a Detailed Action Plan that specifies certain results to benefit Americans. Companies awarded Federal Contracts that do not achieve the desired outcome are simply not compensated.
Our focus will be on achieving results rather than subsidizing a particular industry. What happened When FDR authorized contracts for Planes and Tanks? The problem with our Stimulus Plan and T.A.R.P. is we do not have “State of The Art” Systems reducing our costs as a result. We simply recirculated money.
Long Range Plans that address America’s Challenges Will Energize People When they see their Cost of Living Lowered or Have More Free Time as a result. Funding will come from Eliminating Federal Programs that do nothing more than duplicate services across agencies. What is more exciting is that people may see Politics shifting away from Special Interests to People Positively impacting People’s Lives. Instead of criticizing an opponent Politicians could be graded on their policy proposals.
